Borobudur Temple Visit

Hello readers!

In this post, I want to share my experience about my visit to Borobudur Temple with a friend of mine.
My super last went there its like when I was kid, maybe when I was 7 and then on Jan 11st 2017, I came back there again. I started my ride to Borobudur at 7am and arrived there nearly 8am.I bought the entrance ticket for IDR 30,000 and my friend paid for International entrance ticket about USD 20 (include free drink).
It's so sunny and hot. We had to walk kinda far but not too far to get to the temple. It's amazing!
Do you ever imagine how can the people build big temple like that a long time ago without any modern technologies like now?
Students visit to Borobudur

Before we talk about my trip, I have to inform you something that Borobudur temple is the BIGGEST BUDDHIST TEMPLE IN THE WORLD. *keplok keplok keplok (read:applause)*
Stupa
It's located in Magelang, Jawa Tengah. It's not far away from Jogja, maybe it takes 1 hour up to 2 hours to get there.
To go to the top of the temple we have to climb like 10-15 mins. I didn't count about how many stairs to get there :( but its so many hahaha.
Arca inside the stupa
I had totally amazing view from the top! So beautiful, my camera can't even describe how beautiful it was. There are so many Stupa on the top of the temple and there is a big stupa on the most top of the temple. In every little stupa, there is Arca. There is believe if you could touch the Arca inside the stupa and you wish for something it can be true! But when I was there, there was warning to not touch the Arca. Oh ya guys, if you wanted super beautiful view from the top of the temple, I suggest you to go there before sunrise and in weekday cause if you went there on Saturday and Sunday, its so crowd. If you wanted to know about the history of the Temple you can paid for guide service, to help you know about the history of the temple that you can find on the relief.
