New Indonesian Money! Uang NKRI 2016


Hello!
Right now, I would like to give information about the new Indonesian money (Rupiah).
On 19th December 2016, finally Bank Indonesia released new Indonesian money at 9am. There was President of Indonesia, Indonesian Ministry of Finance and some important people like President Director of Bank Indonesia. There are many TV Stations and some media who reported the event.

Here is the nominal of new Indonesian money for paper money:

  • Rp 100.000
    This money shows the Indonesian Proclamator, they are Ir. Soekarno and Drs.Moh. Hatta. 
  • Rp 50.000
    This money shows Ir.H.Djuanda Kartawidjaja, he is Sundanese politician and the lastest Indonesian Prime Minister.
  • Rp 20.000
    This money shows Dr.G.S.S.J. Ratulangi, he is Minahasa politican and also the first governor of North Sulawesi. His famous saying in the Tondano language "Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou" is "manusia baru dapat disebut sebagai manusia, jika sudah dapat memanusiakan manusia" which is translated as "men lives to help others live".
  • Rp 10.000
    This money shows  Frans Kaisiepo, he is the fourth Governor of the Papua Province and a National Hero of Indonesia. As the representative of Papua, he was involved in the Malino Conference, where the formation of the Republic of Indonesia was discussed. He against the Netherland to get Papua at that time.
  • Rp 5.000
    This money shows Dr.K.H. Idham Chalid, he is politician and leader of Tanfidziyah Nahdlatul Ulama (1956-1984).
  • Rp 2.000
    This money shows Mohammad Husni Thamrin, he is politician and one of Indonesian national hero.
  • Rp 1.000
    This money shows Cut Nyak Mutia, she is Indonesian national hero from Aceh.
Indonesian new paper money not only shows the picture of Indonesian national heroes but also shows Indonesian traditional dances, flowers, and tourism destination places. The new money wants to show that Indonesia consist of many islands, culture, race, religion, etc but it doesn't makes the difference looks bad but it's great. Difference is beautiful which is represent Indonesian slogan , "Bhineka Tunggal Ika" that means "Berbeda-beda tetapi tetap satu jua" which translated as we are different but we are one as Indonesia.

And the new Indonesian coins:
  • Rp 1.000
    This money shows I Gusti Ketut Pudja, he is Indonesian national hero. He was an Indonesian Politician and first governor of Lesser Sunda.
  • Rp 500
    This money shows a soldier who served in the Indonesian National Revolution, he is Letnan Jenderal TNI (Purn) Tahi Bonar Simatupang.
  • Rp 200
    This money shows Dr. Tjipto Mangunkusumo, he was Javanese politician and also national hero of Indonesia.
  • Rp 100
    This money shows Prof.Dr.Ir. Herman Johanes, he was an Indonesian professor, scientist and politician.
