Merapi Volcano Mountain Museum (Museum Gunung Merapi)

Hello guys, now I'm going to talk about Merapi Volcano Mountain Museum. Everybody who lives in Jogja should know about Merapi. Start from its physic till the mystic story.

Merapi Volcano Mountain Museum is located in Yogyakarta, Jalan Boyong, Dusun Banteng, Kelurahan Harjobinangun, Kecamatan Pakem, Kabupaten Sleman. It's not far away from Kaliurang. So if you want to go Kaliurang, don't forget to visit the museum. Why should you visit this museum? 
  • You can get education about Merapi mountain and other mountains in Indonesia
  • It has earthquake simulation system
  • There is studio film that play movie about Merapi mountain, etc. 
If you want to enter the museum, you need to pay Rp 5.000/person. You can watch the Merapi movie too but you need to pay more for it. I don't really remember how much does it cost. I think it's Rp 5.000 - Rp 10.000. So, if you plan to visit the museum and watch the movie, you need to pay +- Rp 15.000/person, isn't it not expensive?! .
